Post-/Kolonialismusforschung vernetzt sich in Graz

Historisches Gewächshaus, botanischer Garten

Am 23. März 2026 fand im Historischen Gewächshaus des Botanischen Garten der Universität Graz das von Bernadette Biedermann (Universitätsmuseum), Katharina Oke und Markus Wurzer (beide Institut für Geschichte) organisierte zweite Vernetzungstreffen zu Post-/Kolonialismusforschungen in Graz statt. Der selbst kolonial geprägte Ort bot den rund 40 Teilnehmenden – darunter Studierenden, Lehrenden und außeruniversitären Interessierten – Gelegenheit zum Austausch. Ziel des interdisziplinären Treffens war es, unterschiedliche Perspektiven zu bündeln, Kooperationen zu fördern und Post-/Kolonialismusforschungen an der Universität Graz sowie darüber hinaus sichtbarer zu machen und kritisch weiterzuentwickeln.
