University Museums: Opening of the new special exhibition "Experience Democracy"

The current special exhibition at the University Museums of the University of Graz entitled "Demokratie er-leben. Your voice. Your choice. Your future" (open from 24 June 2025) invites you to take a critical look at the past and present of democracy.

It provides insights into the first beginnings of the concept of democracy in Ancient Greece as well as the revival of this idea in the early modern period and its further development up to the present day.

The focus is on the question: How much say do the people, society, actually have?
